Monika Jones has seen the business world from all angles.
After
a childhood spent accompanying her father on business trips for the
family wood-veneer company, she now works as one of Germany’s
leading presenters and moderators of international business conferences,
regularly hosting strategy seminars for such renowned multinational
clients as Siemens, Daimler Chrysler, Deutsche
Telekom, Deutsche Bahn, Novartis, and Altana
Pharma, to name but a few.
Monika’s studies took her throughout Europe, from her home town of Augsburg
all the way to Salzburg, Avignon, and finally London, where she met her husband.
She holds a deep passion for the arts and is
a definite connoisseur, in particular of theatre, film and opera. Monika loves
good food, especially Italian and Indian cuisine, and as a full-blooded Bavarian
by birth, she enjoys nothing more than a foaming glass of cool beer after a
long bike tour in the mountains!
Equally
at home in both the English and German languages, Monika has used her
bilingual capabilities extensively as a translator. She is also one of
Germany’s top audio-guide speakers, providing the English narrations
for such major exhibitions as Salzburg Castle, The Berlin
Natural History Museum, The Bach Archive, Sanssoucis
Palace, and Dachau Concentration Camp.
As well as working for several years as an anchor-woman in the corporate-television
sector, Monika’s charm, professionalism, reliability and bi-lingual talents
are also now being employed in her position as the English-language presenter
of DW TV’s “Made in Germany” – a globally
transmitted, weekly TV show concentrating upon the latest developments in the
German business world. This government-backed show enjoys enormous success
worldwide, and Monika is therefore now familiar to a broad international audience,
especially in North America, Asia and Africa.
Whether in a TV studio, or live in front of a conference, gala, or trade-show
audience, Monika Jones is above all a communicator. She loves nothing more
than a new challenge, and is always eager to supply her clients with the best
and most effective presentation possible.
